
AECOM’s Douglas Allingham named Chair of U of Ontario’s Board

The executive vice president with AECOM has been appointed Chair of the University of Ontario Institute of Technology Board of Governors for the 2017-2018 academic year.

The University of Ontario Institute of Technology in Oshawa, Ont. has announced that Douglas Allingham, P.Eng., an executive vice president with AECOM has been appointed Chair of the University’s Board of Governors for the 2017-2018 academic year.
Based in Whitby, Ont., Allingham joined the University’s Board in 2014 and will be replacing Adele Imrie as Chair on September 1, 2017.
“I am excited to take on this new role at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology,” said Allingham in a release from the University. “As a Board Member, I have witnessed the university expand its undergraduate and graduate academic offerings, research capacity and collaborations with industry and community. I sincerely thank outgoing Chair Adele Imrie for her contributions and commitment over the past year, and I look forward to working with the other board members to make the university even more successful.”
