Ontario inviting proposals for building code changes

October 24, 2015
By CCE

November 30 is the last day for submitting proposed changes to the Ontario Building Code.
The Ministry of Housing and Municipal Affairs is developing the next edition and will consider proposed changes.
Changes to the provincial code are generated mainly due to:  (a)  changes in Canada’s national building code;  (b)  changing government priorities;  and (c)  suggestions from users.
All code change requests are logged on receipt and may be considered as part of a general amendment package once sufficient proposals are received.
