EllisDon awarded $59.7M contract for Orleans Health Hub project

The Ottawa-area project involves the construction of a new 96,000 sq. ft. facility that will bring together health and community service partner organizations.

Infrastructure Ontario has announced that EllisDon Infrastructure Healthcare (EllisDon) has been awarded a $59.7 million fixed-price contract to build and finance the Orléans Health Hub Project.

EllisDon was selected as the preferred proponent for this project on June 26, 2019.

The Orléans Health Hub project involves the construction of a new 96,000 sq. ft. facility that will bring together area health and community service partner organizations including:

  • Bruyère Continuing Care
  • Champlain LHIN
  • Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO)
  • Eastern Ottawa Resource Centre (EORC)
  • Geriatric Psychiatry Community Services of Ottawa (GPCSO)
  • Hôpital Montfort
  • Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa

EllisDon will mobilize on site and work will begin this summer, and construction is expected to be complete in spring 2021.
