ASHRAE and Indoor Air Quality Association move closer

July 28, 2015

ASHRAE and the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) are now offering dual memberships to their members as part of the consolidation between the two groups.

Last year the associations announced that they were joining forces to combine resources.

Under the dual membership program, ASHRAE Members and Associate Members can join IAQA as individual members for $131. Individual IAQA members can join ASHRAE for $151. Both are provided with the regular benefits of individual membership in the other association.

“A joint ASHRAE/IAQA membership will allow the IAQA member to access detailed ASHRAE research and combine this with practical application within the IAQA network,” ASHRAE President David Underwood said, adding that they “encourage all interested members to participate.”

ASHRAE, through publishing, education, standards writing and research, offers building design and operation guidance. IAQA focuses on providing information on the quality of the indoor environment including updates on governmental and regulatory activity.
