The Structural Engineers Association of British Columbia (SEABC) has signed an agreement with the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE) to host their 2017 Symposium in Vancouver.
David Harvey, director of SEABC, writes in its May newsletter: “It is a significant move for SEABC to host a world-class structural engineering conference, but it is a move that we were keen to make when the opportunity arose.”
The SEABC organizing committee is chaired by Peter Taylor, with Katrin Habel and Adam Lubell as co-chairs.
The event will be held September 19-23, 2017, preceded by meetings and pre-conference seminars.
