The 2006 Consulting Engineers of B.C. Meritorious Achievement Award given to individuals went to Peter Buckland and Peter Taylor of Buckland and Taylor. The engineers have worked on dozens of bridge projects around the world, projects “about which other bridge engineers only dream,” said CEBC. Together Buckland and Taylor have received more than 50 engineering awards… [and] influenced the art of bridge engineering world wide.”
