The ACT-FA-9001 is a first-of-its-kind actuator for Venturi air valves
Norcross, GA, January 20, 2016 – Triatek, a leading manufacturer of airflow control products for laboratory and healthcare applications will introduce its new smart actuator for Venturi air valves at the 2016 AHR Expo in Orlando, Florida.
This innovative, first-of-its-kind actuator is quiet, powerful, and smart. Staff working within critical environments that utilize exposed Venturi air valves in the ductwork will appreciate how quiet the actuator is, and the data it sends to facility managers will help improve building automation efficiency and warn of any excessive valve and actuator movements.

Features of the ACT-FA-9001 include a quiet, brushless motor that will improve the user experience, and cycle count tracking that will provide predictive analytics about the actuator and valve to facility managers.
The ACT-FA-9001 also incorporates a non-contact position sensor which provides a more accurate actuator position with no wear on the sensor, along with increased reliability. Fast-acting and standard-acting speeds are both available, along with fail safe options including fail open, fail close, and fail in last position, so customers can choose the best options for their specific application.
