CPCI Announces the 2016 Engineering, Architectural and Real Estate Awards of Excellence Winners

OTTAWA, August 2, 2016 – The Canadian Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute (CPCI) is excited to announce the 2016 CPCI Awards to deserving engineering, architectural and real estate firms who have helped advance the Canadian precast prestressed concrete industry with excellence in their fields. This year’s winners were chosen by CPCI staff, the CPCI Chairman of the Board, and the CPCI Alberta Chapter members.
The CPCI Engineering Excellence Awards, the CPCI Real Estate Developer Awards of Excellence and the Roy Willwerth Precast Concrete Architectural Recognition Awards will be presented on October 5 at the CPCI Annual General Meeting at the Fairmont Banff Springs in Banff, Alberta. Each year these awards are bestowed upon firms in the CPCI Chapter where the CPCI AGM is held.
“CPCI is proud to acknowledge the contributions of these excellent firms. It will be a pleasure to celebrate their awards and welcome them in person at the presentation in Banff this October,” says Peter Yurkiw, CPCI Chairman of the Board.
The CPCI Engineering Excellence Award recognizes outstanding contributions to the Canadian precast prestressed concrete industry in engineering, innovation, education, sustainability and change; for positive leadership, industry-altering development and expansion; and for accelerating the growth of the Canadian precast prestressed concrete industry from within the engineering community.
