Montreal-based multi-disciplinary architectural firm Lemay has added Toker + Associates of Calgary, a 32-person architecture and interior design outfit, to the Lemay family.

The move enhances Lemay’s presence in Western Canada. “Toker’s excellent reputation and commitment to sustainability and innovation perfectly support our vision to become the Canadian leader and a world reference in the integrated design of sustainable living environments, through a distinctive approach,” said Louis T. Lemay, president of Lemay in a company release.

The addition of Toker’s staff elevates Lemay’s headcount to close to 450 Canada-wide.

“We are proud to join such an esteemed Canadian leader in offering a wide range of services to clients across Canada,” said Eric Toker, now a Lemay partner and former founding principal of Toker + Associates. As new Lemay partners, Toker founders Eric and Dedre Toker will continue their leadership of the Calgary office, with a mandate to further develop markets in the region.
