Two consulting engineering firms in British Columbia have merged. Effective March 31, Terra Engineering and Macleod Geotechnical became Terra Macleod Engineering Ltd. The new company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Trow Consulting Engineers, whose head office is in Brampton, Ontario.
The two companies serve the transportation, urban development, real estate, manufacturing and resource sectors.
Jim O’Brien, the former president of Macleod Geotechnical, has been appointed vice-president of Terra Macleod. Allan Russell is President of the combined company.
Terra has seven offices in B.C., and its head office is on East 7th Avenue in Vancouver. Macleod Geotechnical is on Brooksbank in North Vancouver.
