National survey of engineers and technologists under way

Engineers Canada (formerly the Canadian Council of Professional Engineers), together withthe Canadian Council of Technicians and Technologists, is holding a major survey of their labour markets and wants participants. The survey will address issues related to:
— the choice of technical fields
— continuing professional development and sources of professional training
— membership in professional and technical associations
— employment by region and industry.
There is also a special section that looks at the challenges encountered by international engineering and technology graduates.
Both licensed and unlicensed individuals are encouraged to participate. Cofidentiality is absolutely assured.
