From now on National Engineering Week is to be extended to become National Engineering Month. Engineers Canada and the provincial and territorial professional associations announced the “rebranding” on February 18. They say making the event a month long affair for the whole of March will allow the different associations more flexibility and an opportunity to organize more events.
The theme this year is “Design the Future.” The event will be focused on encouraging elementary and high school students to consider a future in engineering.
