In September, MMM Group of Toronto (formerly Marshall Macklin Monaghan) acquired two companies in British Columbia and one in Toronto.
One acquisition is Quadra Pacific Consultants of Vancouver, a mechanical engineering firm with 25 employees and a roster of institutional, commercial and industrial clients in western Canada and the United States.
The other company is R.A. Duff and Associates, known as the RADA Group. Based in Burnaby, RADA specializes in electrical engineering, especially for the educational and healthcare markets, as well as research, correctional and commercial buildings. It too has about 25 employees.
Bruce Bodden, MMM’s president and chief executive officer, said “These important acquisitions of quality companies strengthen MMM’s building engineering services in B.C.’s Lower Mainland.”
In addition, MMM has bought a Toronto company called Seawood Solutions and Services. Seawood has about 15 employees and focuses on building commissioning and facility management.
