Consulting Engineers of Ontario elected new directors and officers for 2010-2011 at its annual meeting on June 10.
J. Shawn Gibbons, P.Eng. of GENIVAR was elected as chair of the board. A civil engineer and graduate of McGill University (1980), Gibbons lives in Ottawa and has 30 years’ experience managing large engineering projects.
The executive officers for 2010-2011 besides Mr. Gibbons are Bill De Angelis of Associated Engineering as vice-chair, Michael Snow of Golder Associates as treasurer, Mike Stocks of AMEC as secretary, and David Amm of Hatch Mott MacDonald as past chair.
Newly elected directors of the CEO board are Brian Jackson of AECOM, Anthony Karakatsanis of Morrison Hershfield, Robert Kivi of MMM Group and Fouad Mustafa of Giffels Associates/IBI Group.
Returning directors are Laurie Boyce of CH2M HILL Canada, Paul Hudspith of URS Canada, Angelo Innocente of MTE Consultants and Michael Snow of Golder Associates.
