Two Canadian firms are top of the Zweig Letter Hot Firm 2010 List. The list is compiled by ZweigWhite, management consultants to construction firms based in the U.S. The list has been issued since 2000 and recognizes the fastest growing architecture, engineering and environmental consulting firms, measured on the bases of their percentage and dollar growth.
GENIVAR with its headquarters in Montreal is listed at No. 2, and Trow Global based in Brampton, Ontario is No. 3. Number 1 on the list was Fentress Architects of Denver.
Klohn Crippen Berger of Vancouver was also high on the list at No. 23, and Stantec was No. 30.
MTE Consultants of Burlington, Ontario was No. 95, Golder Associates was No. 125, and Enermodal Engineering of Waterloo, Ontario was right behind at No. 126.
The winning firms will be honoured at a conference in Washington, DC on October 27-28.
Among the 100 firms on the list, two that are not based in Canada but have a strong presence here are URS, which was No. 7 and AECOM which was No. 13.
