The Stage 1 deadline for the 2010 Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards is only four weeks away! A Notice of Intention to Enter must be submitted by Tuesday, March 30.
Take this opportunity to enter your most noteworthy projects and have the chance to win recognition on the national stage.
A joint program of the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies (ACEC) and Canadian Consulting Engineer magazine, the awards are the pre-eminent mark of recognition for completed engineering projects in Canada. They are now in their 42nd Year.
Ten awards of excellence are given, as well as the Schreyer Award for technical innovation, and the Tree for Life/Un Arbre a Aimer award for environmental stewardship.
Entries can be made in any of nine categories. There are six technical categories: buildings; transportation; water resources, environmental remediation; natural resources/mining/power/industry; and special projects. The three non-technical categories are: project management; international; community service/in-house initiatives.
The Stage II deadline is Tuesday, May 4.
(Note: this is a separate competition from the provincial consulting engineering awards. Projects must be entered to CCE/ACEC directly.)
