Engineering firms cited as good employers

Several Canadian consulting engineering companies were among the Globe and Mail’s “Top 100 employers for 2013.” Announced October 9, the list includes AMEC Americas, Oakville, Ontario; DIALOG,Vancouver; Golder Associates, Calgary; Knight Piésold, Vancouver; Ledcor Group, Vancouver, and Rescan Environmental Services, Vancouver. Reasons given for the citation included providing employees with profit sharing, with referral bonuses of up to $5,000, with formal mentoring, and for operating an international employee exchange program.
